Nottingham Rugby are delighted to announce the signing of Dan Richardson for the 2024/25 season!

The prop played junior rugby with his home-town club at Penrith in Cumbria before representing Leeds Beckett University, where he studied Sports and Exercise Science. For the 2017/18 season, he joined National One side Fylde and then spent 2018/19 with Rotherham Titans in National One also. In March 2019, Richardson moved to Jersey Reds, before making his move to Premiership Rugby in 2021 with Leicester Tigers where he would make 18 appearances.

After putting pen to paper, he said “I’m really looking forward to being here, I’ve had a taste of the club during a loan spell here and it’s a really great environment.”

Dan stands at 6 foot 1 inches tall and weighs in at 119kg.

Head Coach Craig Hammond added “I’ve had the pleasure of coaching Dan previously and he will be a real boost to our side. He has that Premiership quality that will help to push us on.”
