Nottingham recorded back-to-back victories for the first time since 14th December with a 30-17 win against London Scottish.

The victory takes Nottingham up to 7th, one point behind Ampthill.

“We’re really happy with the performance from the boys,” said Fowkes. He added: “They stuck at the job well and to go away from home against a side like London Scottish and get four points is a credit to them.”

The Green and Whites were 17-0 ahead after half an hour and totted up three tries throughout the game, one away from a bonus point.

Neil Fowkes said: “We had a really good start and then carried that through to the full 80. It was a bit of a shame we didn’t get a bonus point right at the end but it’s very pleasing to see the way the boys defended too.”

Nottingham are next in action at home to Hartpury on Friday 14th February.
