22-year-old Seb Cecil has won Nottingham Rugby’s young Player of The Season, as picked by the coaches.

Cecil made 15 appearances during the last campaign, scoring one try in the process. The flanker has made 37 appearances in the Green and White jersey in total, but particularly catching the eye this season.

Seb was up against Alex Dolly and Ollie Chessum who were also nominated for Young Player of The Season.

He said: “I’m absolutely delighted to win the award. Thanks to the coaches for choosing me. I’ve had a really enjoyable season with Nottingham and we’re very pleased to finish 6th in the league despite it being cut short.”
