Distinction has agreed to continue its sponsorship with Nottingham Rugby into the 2020-21 season.

The Nottingham-based firm is one of the UK’s oldest digital agencies and proud of its Nottingham roots along with its strong ties to rugby. With the recent RFU funding cuts to championship rugby, the Distinction team felt it vital to continue their sponsorship; even more so now with the impact of the current COVID-19 crisis which has led to uncertainty around the future of Nottingham Rugby.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the team at Distinction has been helping its clients react quickly to the everchanging situation by delivering digital solutions to meet their business needs. In just two weeks they launched a microsite containing dedicated COVID-19 resources for the affiliates of a leading membership organisation in the healthcare sector.

Distinction has also joined forces with Factor 50, Yoti and Experian to launch www.helpmystreet.org, an online hub that brings together community volunteers and those who need help by making it simple, safe and effective for everyone. You can sign up as a Street Champion or a Helper to support vulnerable people local to you shelter safely at home during the COVID-19 crisis.

With marketing teams around the world adapting to the new ‘normal’, Distinction joined up with Press for Attention on a webinar recently to provide practical advice for marketeers on how to improve their web and media presence now so they’re on the front foot when it comes to marketing in recovery.
