Six former England players, including four that played for Nottingham, are in attendance at The Bay tonight.

John Pallant, William Hare, Gary Rees, Simon Hodgkinson, Peter Larter and Paul Simpson will all watch the Archers host London Scottish this Friday.

Pallant played three times for England in 1967 and he also played in a non-capped England XV tour to Canada in 1967. He made 21 appearances for Nottingham Rugby scoring 36 points between 1966-1968. He was also a Noel Syson Cup 7s winner in 1967.

Hare made 25 appearances for England, scoring 240 points between 1974-1984. At club level, he made 166 appearances for Nottingham Rugby, two as captain, scoring 1,578 points between 1971-1976. He, like Pallant, was a Noel Syson Cup 7s winner but in 1975.

Rees made five appearances at the Rugby World Cup in 1987, and made 23 appearances for England in total. He is one of the most-capped Nottingham players of all-time, as he represented the club on 307 occasions (between 1980-1997), nine of which he was captain for. He won the Noel Syson Cup 7s in 1981 & 1983.

Simon Hodgkinson made one appearance at the Rugby World Cup in 1991, and he made 14 appearances for England in total between 1989-1991. He, like Rees, is one of the most-capped Nottingham players of all-time, making 318 appearances for Nottingham, 39 as captain, scoring 2,778 points between 1981-1998.

Peter Larter and Paul Simpson never represented Nottingham, but they made a combined total of 50 appearances for England. Uttley was the assistant coach of the British Lions in 1989.
